The answer lay in your question, pot, smoke some pot, that will make you creative, paint the pots, make the money buy some more pot(s). If you don't smoke go to a dang museum for some inspiration
If you are able to pull it off, using a wood kiln does some really awesome things to thrown pots. When I was taking a sculpture class I picked a theme and did like 6 pots centered around that theme. I used goddesses as my theme and did one to represent an African goddess, star goddess, ocean goddess - you get the picture. Picking a theme is a good way to tie your pieces together and inspire you on multiple projects.
have a browse through these and see if anything tickles your fancy... i personally like a gentle floral theme on pots...but funkying them up a bit would be cool!
