computer cuts off? I've tried twice to enter some chat rooms thru my Yahoo Messenger. Both times, when I click "submit" after entering the security code, my computer shuts down and reboots itself. The only hint to what it could be is upon re-boot there is an anonymous person trying to initiate Yahoo messenging or chat. I deny them of course.
I've got friends in these chat rooms and they enter ok. Anyone else had the problem or know the cause?
I've got YM 9.0.0.2032 and Windows XP and IE. Since I'm entering the chat rooms thru YM my browser should not be an issue.
my XP firewall is off. I use messenger all the time, just can not enter chat rooms.
I know Bill Gates hates Yahoo but he would not go as far as to have a file in his software capable of doing this. It has been repeated 3 times, no hands near the keyboard and there are ways to reboot using the keyboard, Win + u + u, or something, that is not happening.
