We have a pretty flat roof over the addition on our house & a small backyard, so i'm considering having a rooftop garden. - not too many plants that we'd worry about weight (seeing as the roof held up nearly 4ft of snow this winter!), but what about irrigation runoff? do i need to worry about the sediment getting in the gutter? i figure i'd reuse old buckets & other containers for the plants.
any caveats for rooftop gardens/sediment runoff?
