any body know anything about parakeets?

first of all, have you fed it a lot of fresh foods or very watery things such as iceberg lettuce lately? these things will naturally change the composition of the droppings.

however, a dirty vent indicates to me that there is something else wrong. watery poo is asociated with stress and many different diseases and problems. i would watch your bird closely until it clears up or gets worse. if it gets worse, i highly reccomend a vet visit

i have a parakeet that has very watery poop.dirty feathers from the watery poop.he seems fine eats plays,not siting moping around.any avian vets know what the proplem could be.thanks
