please help!!? I have a factory installed alarm went to the store today and my remote wouldn't work to lock it so i manually locked it on the door. Came out and used the key to unlock it and the alarm went off I put the key in the ignition and it is still going off.. so i went in the store and bought new batteries that didn't work so went home to get the other remote and that still didn't work also I used the valet key nothing so my van is still in the Target parking lot. Does anyone know what the problem could be or what to try to fix this. By the way yes I did put new batteries in the 2nd remote also. Another thing when I start the car with the alarm going off it starts for a second and then kills itself for safety reasons im sure. I also tried to use the locks on the door and the same thing keeps happening the alarm won't turn off.PLEASE HELP ANYTHING YOU CAN SUGGEST WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!
No I haven't figured It out yet :( but that is one thing i'm gonna try tomorrow...anything else out there please....

have you figured it out yet?? I would un hook the battery to let it reset everything you have to let it stay un hooked for five maybe ten minutes

as the above answer said unhook the battery cable for about 5 minutes and let the computer erase the settings and then hook it back up,you,ll loose your radio settings when you do this but it will also reset the alarm system on it, i got dodge stratus that does this every once in a while and all we do is remove the cable and all is fine with it,it sounds primitive but it works, good luck.
