Any advice on how to clear mucus?

Hi all,

I don't know if GERD is what I have... I've been to the doctor's office twice this month for this excessive PND and throat clearing and chest tightness. I've had bad allergies before (same problem) about 8 years ago.

Anyway, does anyone have any advice on how to clear/thin the mucus? I've noticed that my chest is tight and throat hurts when I have excessive PND.

Help will be much appreciated.
 
I have started to use the Neilmed sinus rinse for LPR reflux and that seems to be helping me some.
