Okay so this is my very first time posting on one of these sites so please bare with me. I just moved to toronto for school and found the perfect apartment. I have been on citalopram for a few months now for anxiety/ocd. I have been on it before but was decreased of off citalopram over a year and a half ago. Anyways things were going great until i started seeing all of these reports on bed bugs in toronto. For the last two months i have been obsessing over these stupid critters. I constantly check my place for signs of an infestation. Any bug i find is studied careful to ensure that it is not a bed bug. I feel like im driving myself crazy. The worst part is that every time i lay in bed my skin gets really itchy and it feels like there are bugs crawling on me! Is this just phycological? Or could it be a side effect from citalopram? whatever it is, it's driving my obession with bed bugs up the wall! Any suggestions?
