OK , I am a 36 yr old female, very active, married , 2 kiRAB.
A month ago I had knee surgery to fix my knee, I tore my meniscus running a marathon. I am an avid runner adn I teach kick boxing classes.
3 days after surgery I was relaxing in bed when I sudenly felt a strange wave come over me, I started heaving , I broke out in a sweat like I wter dumped on me and my heart racing and my chest turned ice cold. Scarey.
But I figured it was from my surgery , and all the meRAB I had taken. The next day it happened again, this time I went to the ER, the back of head got real hot and wasn't messing around with that!
An ekg and blood work revealed nothing, I was SO releived, I figured it was phenergan I took for b=nausea since those side effects werelisted onthe bottle.
Now 3 days I had another almost identical episode. just gettingmy daughter ready for school, my hand went nurab, my heart started racing, my head felt hot ( only in the back) and arms got heavy. I was having trouble putting 2 worRAB together. My chest will kind of heavy or tightor even burn ( but no cold sensation like the first time). My chest burns constantly.
I went to my doc, blood work showed no anemia or vit B or low sodium levels.
I had an echocardio gram to look for vavle prolapse, that was normal.
I still feel queasy ,loss of appetite and sometimes my arms and head will get hot. I feellike I'm on the verge of anothe rscarey episode at any moment so I'm hyper aware of every heart beat, feeling, I 'm sick of worrying about this.
Is something being missed? I'm relieved my tests came back normal, but it is a little frustrating as well. I was a normal healthy person. Now I'm on edge , I feel like something is going to cause me die suddenly, instead of being a strong person, runner ect.
My doc is suggesting this is anxiety now. But I had NO anxiety until this started happening. I just want answers and get thorugh this !I have a very supportive husband through all this as well! Thanks for listening!
