Hi,
I am pretty sure I suffer from anxiety, but I haven't actually taken meRAB for it or gone to get professional help. It has gotten to the point where I have to do something about it.
Okay, so here is what I have noticed:
1)My jaw and throat muscles get really tense and I find it hard to smile when this happens (If I try, my lips twitch)...so something as simple as taking a picture in a crowded environment makes me feel really awkward
2)I get really fidgety and start to sweat, even just sitting in my seat at school. I have no idea why!
3)I feel naseous sometimes and feel like I am going to throw up
4)When I have to speak in front of people (even if it's just a few) my heart beats really fast to the point where I feel like I can't breathe and I definitely can't talk... I know it's some psychological problem because I am fine talking to people one on one or just with my frienRAB. As soon as I HAVE to read something out loud or present something, I can't.
I guess this happens most often in social situations. I have always been a little nervous in front of a crowd, but ever since this year, I have found it taking over my life. It feels like I have no control. I don't know what to do about it because it has really affected my life. I know there is so much more I could be doing, but my anxiety is holding me back. Any help or suggestions would be great!
