Hello.
I have GAD and currently take 60MG of Cyrabalta AM. I have had two surgeries and been out of work since late May. I had an ACDF (Cervical Fusion) on C6/7 and Lurabar discectomy on L5/S1. On Septeraber 6th I will be 6-weeks post op from my second surgery and am due to return to work on the 7 of Septeraber. I work for the state as a CPS worker. Lots of driving, in and out of peoples home, assessing the safety of children, typing up reports, and lots of waiting at the court house on wooden benches. The state is going through a budget crisis right now and we are way over worked. The stress levels are through the roof and just thinking of returning has me sick to my stomach. I am not sure if I am ready to return if it is my Anxiety that has me second guessing. On one side I want to get back to work and back in the swing of things. On the other hand I am terrified I am not ready yet and my back issues will continue and I will be out of work again with no benefits. I dont' know if anyone has had an issue like this. I am still having to take pain meRAB by early afternoon due to severe pain n legs and neck. I have no one to really talk to about it. My husband thinks I should stay off work, like it is that easy, my co workers and boss want me back at work ASAP..... I guess I am just looking for similar stories, friendly advise, or just venting.
