Have been taking allergic reactions to substances since May this year. Only relief is taking antihistamins. Is there any record of side effects of long term effect of anithistamines?
I've been on and off them for over 50 years. Sometimes you have to change them because a particular one will stop working for you. OTherwise, no problems. You can take them forever. I would caution against ones with a decongestant for long term use and you can get dependent on them.
