My 2002 dodge truck temp gauge usually runs alittle below the middle reading. Last night after driving about 30 miles I noticed the gauge was running just a slight bit warmer (middle of gauge) and when i shut the truck off for about 5 mins antifreeze was dripping out of the overflow tube just enough to see on pavement about the size of a golfball. What would cause this? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

you could also have a blown head gasket causing this too happen its pushing pressure back through the cooling system and causing the pressure to force the anti freeze out,and that can also be something as simple as a stuck thermostat in it,but id check to see if the thermostat was bad first then run a pressure check on the cooling system, good luck.

If it came from overflow and you haven't added any lately then the Thermostat is sticking would be my guess and pushing it out due to valve stuck in the closed position and causing it to be low on fluid and running hotter. Fix this or could get hot enough to blow head gasket.

Do you have enough oil in your engine? And are you sure it's not leaking out of somewhere in the radiator? There's a lot of potential problems, but it all depends.
