I am on 100mg doses of a broad spectrum antibiotic taken once a day for sinusitus. My boyfriend is visiting and I haven't seen him in 5 weeks! I am eating some activa yogurt everyday at least 2 hours before or after taking the antibiotic (as to not interferre with its activity so much). I try to stay away from a lot of sugars, beer, and breads as to avoid yeast infections while my flora are being killed off by the antibiotic.
I am on birth control, but my boyfriend and I will use condoms this weekend because I am more safe than sorry. Which type of condom is best to use?! One with spermicide? One without? I am not allergic to latex and do not have irritation to spermicide - but i feel like with my bodies defenses down I should be extra careful as to not get a yeast infection... any advice?!
