It would be best if this J2ME application be compatible in other phone manufactures as well (Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Siemens etc..) so that it reaches into a great demanding market.

Just an idea.

Interesting. I know a way to lock your phone after it's stolen. You press *#06# and the phone will show you the IMEI number. And after your phone is stolen, you can tell the carrier the IMEI number and they can lock that phone. Even the theif use another sim card, it still can't be used. But the defect is they can't trace the theif through the phone.
