ANSWER FAST! Live Chat? (Ustream,justin.tv?)?

Okay, So Im supposed to do a live chat you know where you can ask questions and stuff? Well Ive tried to do one but theres no chat box on the side. Can you give me a little information on how to do that?
And also, it just has volume adjustments and sorts. Any help PLEASE? My live chat is in 5 hours and i need to find out how to work it.
