...little yamaha? guitar for about 300 dollars. my hands are quite small (I cannot reach 9 inches with the ruler; when my hand is extended) So . (I'm an old guy) I would like to have a guitar of the correct dimensions. but that just wont happen in my lifetime. My acoustic guitas are no worries : I can bash them any time. What I want to know is: is the purchase of a classical guitar dependent on what you know about the spacing of one of your hands; ie; the distance from your pinky to your thum out stretched: I am under nine inches. 8 and 1 half to be exact. So I will never be able to make a barre chord on a steel string guitar.. simply because unlike my dick i don't have the nine inches. I hate this.
