the cook has a very small imagination. his menu has a range of 5 dishes: soup, fish, apple dumpling, cheese and ham. he says that to give the customers variety he will offer a differently arranged menu every weekday - Monday to Friday. Each day's menu has 4 of the 5 basic courses, and starts with a different dish.
Wednesday's menu opens with apple dumplings. on Monday and Friday the menu ends with cheese, on Wednesday and Thursday it ends with fish.
he also has some rules : cheese is never served before soup; when fish is first on the menu (but at no other time), cheese is second. soup and fish are never on the menu together. on soup days, the apple dumplings immediately follow the ham; on fish days, vice versa.
Name Tuesday's dishes in the correct order.
good luck!

This is my guess after attempting to work it out on paper.

1st: Fish
2nd: Cheese
3rd: Apple Dumplings
4th: Ham

Sadly, I know wed, thurs for sure
I know monday and friday are interchangeable. I'm still not sure about Tuesday though. I would love to see how you can prove what Tuesday is. It seems like more than 1 menu would work.

Great Problem!
