Another dance, same dress? Is this bad?

Our school is having the second dance of the year soon (A Valentines Day Dance) And I'm still with the same boyfriend I went to the Homecoming Dance with at the begining of the year. This dance is also semi-formal, but I only have one dress, the same one I wore last time. Would it be tacky and lame to wear it again? I know he'll know if I do because last time he was all complimenting me on it and stuff. Butt I don't want to spend the time or money getting a new one. What should I do?
 
get another dress just go to macys or the mall and get a little balck or red dress thats cheap and spice it up with jewrly...or somethin but dont wear the same dress....
 
You could wear the same dress but just fix it up a bit & wear different jewlery & make up then he won't notice maybe.
 
Here are some options:

1) Wear the dress again and don't worry about it..You looked beautiful in it once why not look beautiful in it again. Wear your hair different. Maybe wear different shoes and accessories.

2) Ask a friend if you could borrow one of their homecoming dresses that they have already worn.

3) Macy's usually has good sales on dresses..My mom found me a cute Jessica McClintock dress (usually around $150) for like less than $20 there one year.

5) Thrift stores usually have some used dresses that are still in style for fairly cheap.
