Health and Safety 'experts' say that a monkey puzzle tree that has stood for 150 years has to be chopped down "for safety reasons". They insist that, despite there being no reported instances to date, that the needles from the tree are a hazard.
Is this another case of health and safety gone mad, or are they right in trying to protect people from this vicious tree?
