Ok since my last question I made a decision and the first candidates for my 10 g tank are about 5 or 6 White Cloud Mountain Minnows and a rock with Java Moss on it (as it will surely end up attached to it)
And before I get started on all the setting up of the tank prior to buying the fish I got a few questions:
1. I don't think so, but can I reuse some gravel I haven't used since a long time if I disinfect it and all that?
2. (If yes) Reusing gravel affects cycling compared to using new?
3. How much gravel should I put in the tank? (Considering it doesn't have any other plants other than the moss)
4. IS Java moss a good plant combo with WCMM fish?
5. It will surely happen that the gravel and the medium-sized rock and moss will take a lot of space thus reducing it somehow, will it be okay to keep 4-6 White Clouds there (since they are schooling fish) or shoud I look closely towards other kinds of fish? If so, which?
Thank you for your time
I just want to be sure of what I want to do.
PS. also, I have been reading a lot about WCMM but I haven't read anything inquiring aereation (as in air stones, bubble walls and stuff) do they need it?
