Anorexia & Diazepam?

Hi,

Just a question (please answer!)

I have anorexia, and emetophobia (fear of vomiting), and will be flying to Greece this time next week and taking 10mg of Diazepam. Odviously because of my eating disorder combined with my fear of flying AND vomiting, this means the chances of me eating 12 hours before the actual flight is slim, so I will be taking the diazepam on a completely empty stomach.

My questions is - will doing this, and taking the diazepam on an empty stomach like that make me sick? It says ont he packet that I can take it with or without food, but I need to make sure. My biggest fear is to get sick on the plane!

No, it wont make you sick.

If vomiting realy worries you, you could ask your doctor if you could take an antivomiting drug before the flight (eg Bonnine)

I think your aneorexia is a bigger problem. have you tried getting help for that?
