I want to see if there is a program out there or any good suggestions to help my company spread our overtime job assignments evenly throughout the company. We are a staff of 14, working 24hours (8 hr shifts). Problem is when we post overtime events on a bulletin board employees working the morning shift (business hours) they get 1st pick and leaves the middle shift with limited options and night shift with no overtime opportunity.
I was think technology will be the best way to go. Option I was thinking was to send an email announcements and use the employees time stamp response as a first come first serve basis.
