I asked this question earlier regarding my sister's wedding. She had invitations printed....it says "reception following" with no time.
She was then told a month later 2 hours would be needed for photos and she is fine with that, since they do not want to see each other before the wedding.
Now it was asked that would it be nice to pass out announcements that the reception would start 2 hours later? Many people retorted with smart comments about not even showing up for the reception.
For the people who do not want to show up....would it be better to just not even have an announcement? And just have you guys wait at the reception area for 2 hours? Would you rather be duped into waiting there, bored? Or know ahead of time with the announcement?
To the people who said they would kill time at home/store then show up to the reception, thank you.
