ankle/heel puffiness question

I have ankle/back of heel puffiness and have had it for about 4-5 years. I have been to several podiatrist, cardiologist, family Dr, and an Ortho Dr. none which have found any reason for it. Does anyone have this puffiness around the ankle or the back of the heel? It's only on one foot. Just don't know what to do about it. Hubby use to give intense foot rubs but I don't think he did anything to it. Any ideas?

does it hurt or do you have any pain when its touched? does is prevent you from wearing shoes or anything like that? If you've been to docs...and they can't find a cause, then it's probably nothing major. Remember the saying...no two things are alike...that includes breasts, feet and whatever else we have two of. If it's been that way for some time and doesn't cause you any real distress...might just be the way you were made :-)

It does not hurt when touched and there is no pain. I can wear heals but when I take them off there's a definate indention. I noticed it all of a sudden. My hubby used to give me intense foot rubs and thought maybe he did something to it. One day I had nerve pain on top of my foot to where I couldn't wear any shoe on that foot but that was years ago. So, I don't know what to do for it. I know it didn't use to be like that. You can still see the ankle bone but then you see puffiness behind the ankle bone around the heal. It drives me nuts because like I said, I can wear dress shoes but then it shows! I do use a foot massager to get the circulation going because I thought it was either a nerve or circulation thing..but I just don't know. I do know, it's not a normal thing for me.
