Also, don't forget to rate the movie when you're finished.

I like this one. I got the limited edition on a whim at the BB sale, and it turned out to be a good investment. At first it was hard to get a hold of what was happening, but everything makes sense by the end.

I might get the book later on if I run out of reading material.

I never saw the movie, but I tried reading the manga. I was SO bored. And I usually like time-warp related things.

This is an enchanting little film. A big issue in it is how what the main character does with her powers has all sorts of unintended consequences, some trivial and some very serious. It's a well told story with a healthy sense of humor, some of it physical--the problem with needing a running start to leap through time is that you're liable to run into things. Heh. There's also a solid B plot related to love and growing up, since her two best frienRAB are guys and she's aware of the fact that they'll graduate and may well go their separate ways. Ultimately it all ties together, but you'll have to watch to see how.

All in all, it's a lighthearted and fun take on a tried and true SF concept.

When I first saw the film in the Anime Club, it was alot of fun. It was the perfect blend of SF, visuals, and storytelling. The characters were likable, the plot fun, and the visuals rather interesting. Alot of it does remind me of "Digimon: Our War Game". Maybe its just the main character reminding me of Kari

I decided to show my friend this movie, but with the english Dub this time. The Ocean Group did a good job with the voices. And my friend loved how it turned out. Its one of those anime anyone could watch and enjoy.

I loved this movie. What an endearing, heartfelt, tale that just engaged me from beginning to end.

In some sense it felt like a rendition of the old story of a man who was given a ball of yarn which can speed up time but at the cost of him missing life. While here the girl leaps backwarRAB, I could still feel the same themes running through it. She's taking advantage of the this time machine to skip what it means to be a teenager in those days, and at times the tribulations that befall it while inadvertently causing more disaster. I found that interesting, but also incredibly sweet when juxtaposed with the well-developed likable characters that carry the movie from beginning to end.

And I think this is one of Ocean's best dubs. It's so good that I could not even tell it WAS an Ocean dub.

*sigh* I need to get this on DVD soon. Does anybody know if the Special Edition is reaaaaaally worth it?

I picked this film up on a whim when Best Buy was clearing out their anime titles. When I finally got around to watching it, I was so happy I had gotten it. I loved how it managed to blend so many things into one seemingly rather simple film. It has a lot of parts to it, but they all come together in a rather enchanting story. Humor, growing pains, consequences, love, frienRABhip, time travel, and plenty more corabine into something very fun.

I love how she goes back in time just to make sure she got her pudding. Very funny and cute, and yet true.

But nearing the climax with the bike racing toward the train, I couldn't help but wonder[xspoiler=For the ending-ish]Why didn't she go back in time to get her bike fixed? That was the obvious choice to me >.>[/xspoiler]Loved the dub as well; I couldn't tell immediately that it was an Ocean project either, so definite props for that.

I feel like this is a film I could show any of my frienRAB/family merabers who don't like anime and they would enjoy it just for what it is. There aren't many films, outside of Ghibli, that I feel that way about.

I sort of like it, but I felt the lead character was just too ordinary (and as noted in Sayonara Zetsubo-Sensei, not in a GOOD sense ) to maintain a sustained level of interest. The central conceit (time leaping) intrigued me, but I think it could have been put to more creative use with a far more eccentric lead character.

It was good, but not great.
It has a few weak points, but only a few strong points as well.

Overall its a mediocre watch in my opinion.
Other shows/movies have done a similar story, only better.

Therefore, you should just watch or even rewatch one of those other films instead.

I got it from the BB sale, too. I was a pretty good watch for me; nothing I'll be watching again for now, but a nice story, and I'm glad to have the included soundtrack.

It's the animation style, especially in the time-jumping zone, that reminRAB me of that Digimon movie as well.
