ok, so please people help me out, i remember a show when i was a kid that was on very early in the morning on saturdays, i remember this because if i didnt wake up early enough i would always miss it. but i always loved this show....
i cant tell you a lot of details about this show. but i can tell you the opening credits. i remember that the opener had a guy and a girl, and the girl gets kidnapped by a evil guy in perhaps a spaceship? and the show was this heros adventure to get his girlfriend back. he had a few sidekicks and when i watch avatar i am reminded of the way it was animated. it was not quite anime, but definitely some form of japan cartoon. he had a portly side kick and for whatever reason i remember him eating meat off a bone (similar to the graphic from zelda when you have to buy the meat to get by the dog in a level or two...haha, dont know if that even helps, but chances are if you know the answer to this question you know what i'm talking about). so please, if this rings a bell....attempt to help me out, throw out anything that rings a bell because at this point, i cant find anything...HELP!!!!
sorry for the poor explanation, but some other details are this. it was definitely not from the future, there were no guns or anything like that, and the main character was dressed similar to dragon ball z's main character....thanks!!
and it was definitely set in more of an older time, i specifically remember an episode where they are using a rope to climb some sort of a mountain
