Animal Shelter best for an aggressive dog?

About 3 months ago I took in a stray lab mix. He was tiny and had really bad worms. I have owned dogs all my life. I already have two dogs besides him. The problem is he is VERY aggressive around people and im afraid he will bite someone. He is healthy now and has been socialized. He has been taken on daily walks, car rides, and hikes-Just like my other two dogs. I now can't take him anywhere. I don't understand where this aggression comes from when I raised like my other dogs!!!! Even as a puppy he would growl at me when I fed him and would try to bully my other two dogs. Would an animal shelter be his best chance? I love my animals but I can't take on this dog anymore. I have never had my OWN animal get aggressive with me before.

If this helps I own a doberman and a tibetan spaniel which both are very well behaved. The doberman has had obedience in the past. All three dogs are inside dogs but lab sleeps in a kennel at night.
And NO I would not allow a dog to growl at me. He is properly exercised since he has a half acre fenced but has been limited to walks because he growls at people who pass by.
No offense people but your all full of it. Dogs are not born aggressive its the people who make them aggressive. They don't try and test your limits with aggressive behavor. Dogs are loyal, loving, and here for companionship. Its not rocket science to owning a pet. If your having to hirer a behavorist to make it safe to have your dog around people then YOU are doing something wrong. I tried to give this puppy a better life. He has had vet care when he was sick and been around my family. I don't know the background on this dog but I can no longer take the risk. Its not a matter of giving up on him its a matter of putting me, my husband, and my two pets who were here first SAFE.
