Ok....recently I replaced the Family 2 theme pack with Lifestyle 2.
I then noticed Animal Planet was now in red,I was still on the line with the CSR and he told me Animal Planet is part of Family 2.

I subscribe to News and Learning 1 which Animal Planet is supposed to be a part of,and the Bell web site still confirms this.

Is this right,or did I miss some updates somewhere.

N & L 1 has an old package (without AP) and a new package (which is the same as the old package + AP)

Change to the new package, you can do it online and you will get Animal Planet.

Just make sure (if you have the old sports theme) that you don't change that because they split Sportsnet & TSN into separate themes.

Thanks DTI,I thought about that.
Im sure I am on the old N & L 1.The CSR didn't explain this, just that AP is part of Family 2.

Yes online, the good ole days. For about 2 month now I haven't been(no option given)able to make changes or see available programming online.I called about this, the CSR told me to Email customer support about the issue.Their response was to Email them any programming changes I wanted to make,no answer as to why my access to make changes has been removed from MyBell page.
It's starting to get frustrating.

The (new) package is about 11 months old and is called New News & Learning 1 and I think you have to call and ask to be switched from News & Learning 1 to New News & Learning 1 in order to get Animal Planet included. It is NOT part of Family 2 any more.

Animal Planet is NOT part of Family 2.
It is part of the new News and Learning 1. If you have the old one, update it for no extra charge. Any agent should be able to help you. If not, ask for their supervisor.

The only English theme pack I don't subscribe to is Family 2.

What is the difference between the old and the new News and Learning 1?I don't want to lose something else if I change to the new.

I'm sure if Bell worked really hard at it, they could make things even more confusing with their theme packs. They seem to be doing a pretty good job of it so far. I can't keep up.

I did call in yesterday, the CSR told me it was a mistake,Animal Planet shouldn't of been removed and would make sure Animal Planet would be returned.

Well, that was over 18 hours now and AP is still blocked out.ARRR
They say it can take up to 24 hours for channels to be unlocked,so I wait.

Also she informed me the reason my Bell online account prohibits me to make programming changes is because they now want to speak directly to the customer when programming changes are involved,no more doing it online.
Well, for me anyways, this kinds of suck.

Question about Animal Planet, why Cats 101 program has finished in Canada ?
Thanks

Finally......problem solve.Yeah

This morning,I called and got a well informed CSR.

Oh yeah she said,"I'll switch you over to the new N & L 1,".The last 2 CSR didn't have a clue about the old and new packs,GEESH.
Animal Planet was added in a couple of minutes.

And,I got an answer to why My online self serve is blocked.
Is because I have some old packs and the Superstation $5.00 add on,I guess this is messing around with their new updated site,so that why I must call in to make changes.
It make sense I guess, why was this so hard to get an answer.
