Basic summary could probably be found on:
www.wikipedia.org

BUT, I read it a few years ago, and we analyzed it in class; I don't remember much, but I remember Snowball is like shunned or something. Also, in the end the pigs are playing poker or cards with the humans; shows that the pigs have turned into almost humans, or something like that, whch is very eerie. Napoleon represents someone in history, I forget who. And Squealer is like his sidekick. And Molly goes off with the humans. In the beginning, the animals have like a revolution against the humans and drive them off the farmer's own farm. Also, they try very, very hard to build a windmill or electrical thing or something (I'm completely unsure what it was), but then it gets destroyed. Also, Boxer is very loyal and hardworking, but very oblivious.

Sorry if this information doesn't help, and don't take my answer word for word, because some of the things I am not 100% sure about, but I think that is about right.

*edit: Wikipedia explains it ALL. Or I'm not sure about your circumstance, but I remembered it does show about Stalinism and totalitarianism.
