Angle of elevation of sun?

When the sun is NW, the shadow of an 11m pole on a vertical wall 5m from the pole reaches 3m up the wall. The wall faces North. Calculate the angle of elevation of the sun. The answer is 48.5 deg but I can't seem to get it.
