My wife and I upgraded out cell phones to the T-Mobile MyTouch 3G phones. We recieved them on the same day and since have been having all sorts of what I can only assume are OS issues. Maybe some of you have had the same issues or maybe you can even tell me how to prevent the issues from happening with an OS patch or fix of some sorts.
The issues are happening to both phones and are the following:
1. SD Card - We sometimes have a message come up stating that there is no SD card in the phone, or that the SD card is blank when both statements are false.
2. Photos - Many times, photos that I just took show up one second (in the Gallery) and then dont show up at all the next.
3. Camera - When starting up either the photo or video cameras, a message will come up stating to insert an SD card, when the card is already inserted.
Those are the big three issues that we've been having, and they all revolve around the SD card. The kicker here though, is that the card seems to be working just fine after I restart the phone completely (turn off then on). It only works fine for a couple hours though, and then reverts to the above.
I've taken the SD card out to look for possible dammage and there is none. I've made sure there was no dust between the connections, then reassemble the phone only to have the same issues.
It's very frustraiting, and before you say that it's probably the SD card... it's happening to both my wife's and my cell phone. The SD cards are the ones that came with the phone, and we dont beat the crap out of your cell phones. They are in practically new condition, as we recieved them new only a couple months ago.
Any ideas on what could be causing this?
