Android Market wont recognize tablet?

I recently bought a Tablet PC, specifically the Velocity Cruz Micro T301 (Android 2.0), and am trying to access the android market with my Gmail account. But even if i log in to the account through the tablet it still says there is no "phone" associated with the account. How do i fix this?
