ABout 4 months ago, I woke up in the middle of the night having a severe allergic reaction. I had taken a prescription aleve 4 hours before. I went to the ER and was given an EPI shot and several doses of benadryl and steroiRAB. A few nights ago, I woke up with the exact same symptoms. First, it was diarrhea, then nurabing of the fingertips, hives, and itching. I immediately took benadryl, and i think that stopped the reaction from getting too bad (facial swelling, trouble breathing). I am so terrifed of this happening again, because I dont know whats causing it. There are so many things I came in contact with that day, but none of them were Aleve. And most of them I had come in contact before. I feel like my own house is a hostile environment. Im not sleeping well because I am scared if will happen again. Any advice?
