Yesterday I was prescribed hydrocodone (vicodin) for pain in my ankle. When I went to the pharmacy the doctor said it was improperly written by my doctor...I didn't fully understand what she meant by this. So, I guess what I'm asking is what is the proper way for a hydrocodone prescription to be written out? I don't understand how a physician would incorrectly write a prescription, unless the pharmacist just could not read the writing properly...
