...organism's body cells undergoes mit? mitosis. How many cells are formed? How many chromosomes does each new cell have? Please help and explain, im so confused:S

b) How many chromosomes are in each sperm cell?

one cell undergoes mitosis- copies into two identical daughter cells. Each new cell has 10 chromosomes (5 pairs).
b) sperm cells are the result of meiosis, and so have half the chromosomes of the original cell- 5 chromosomes each in this example.

One cell with 5 chromosome pairs when it undergoes mitosis will result in two cells each with 5 chromosome pairs ,since the DNA in the chromosome doubles before the cell divides to give two cells.

5 chromosomes in each sperm cell which are produced by meiosis.
