Im a United States Citizen, and yesterday afternoon i commited a moving violation, that i wasnt aware of. They decided to search our vehicle as i continued to press the question of where was the violation, so that i could avoid it in the future. I was told to shutt up. An officer comes to search me, and finds nothing on me, yet i still press the question. I was forced to put my hands on the vehicle, even though my hands werent on it since the beggining of the search. Will i was being force to put my hands on the car i told them to let me go, since you know i can do it myself. And he hand cuffs me saying "Its for yours and my protection" bullshitt. I Flipped, and asked to be read my rights, another officer told me that "I Had No Rights". and that they would make something up if necessary.
So my question, is an officer allowed to arrest you and tell you that you have no rights, as well as threatning to lie on a police report? and if not, what are the proper steps to address this issue.
