I recall a window and a moon
a breeze that slid soft fingers
through the lace
two shadows on a wall
within a room
My memory cannot supply a face
The light still shines
a bookmark, keeping place
The balloon no longer flies
though colors bright
an empty chair recalls
a wayward breeze
still shadows dance
within the full moon light
a gracefull memory
upon the wall
It's Autumn here
though leaves have yet to fall
a breeze that slid soft fingers
through the lace
two shadows on a wall
within a room
My memory cannot supply a face
The light still shines
a bookmark, keeping place
The balloon no longer flies
though colors bright
an empty chair recalls
a wayward breeze
still shadows dance
within the full moon light
a gracefull memory
upon the wall
It's Autumn here
though leaves have yet to fall
