is x1 and its final is x2,? show that the average velocity is (x2-x1)/T

you're suppoesd to use calculus.

this isnt hw, its jjust extra practice.
I got the idea to take f(x)= x2-x1 as a function of its trajectory...and i was going to like integrate or derivative it but idk..neither of that gets the answer?
and no, i dont think i can just use physics and say that average velocity is distance traveled over time =p this is math hw.
