Business took me to Stuttgart earlier this year, and one of the BMW guys showed me his old bubble car thing in his dads' barn, and indicated that he would like to sell it.
It is a bit decrepit, but with persuasion, it actually starts and moves around.
I have offered him about £300 for it, and left a deposit, so I could fly back on bizz one-way, and drive back in the thing if it makes it.
It is one of those whereby the front door swings open, taking the steering wheel with it.
I fancy dismantling it, re-spraying it, assembling it and registering it in the UK.
It may be worth quite a bit here, but is it worth the hassle, or will it be a labour of love ?
