be done to an American? He lives in a seniors residence Just moved in as well ---- and he has run across the older Canadian women who live there .... probably for the first time too

He was politely told to keep quiet and behave ---- apparently the worst thing you can do to an American is to tell him to be quiet

The control these women have managed to exert by silencing discord and dissent he claims is part of a consensus process he knows he is not part of nor are any of the men at the residence The older women have a tendency to gather together come to a consensus and not allow discussion of anything outside the decided to take place with the simple words

Behave and keep quiet

So is it true this is about the worst thing you can do to an American ?

My advice to him -- was just avoid the hell out of them there is no winning Nod your head keep quiet and go do whatever it is you please

I am absolutely sure he won't follow the advice and end up learning more phrases from that generation LOL

Boat rocker --- malcontent and I told you once ........... the couch is all ready for him LOL


So is it true that the worst thing you can do to a Yank is tell him to behave and keep quiet ?
