Get insured? Just talked to this mechanic who was working on my car to get my car towed from his home. The mechanic told me that the car was at his house ready to be towed. The guy who tows vehicles said that my car was not there. Fifteen minutes later, the tow guy states that he saw my car on the next block with the front seats missing!! I knew something was wrong when he avoided my phone calls after having my car for over 8 weeks. Who knows what else is missing in my vehicle? Should I just try and get insurance now and then report it stolen so that I can get some sort of compensation? If so, what should I tell the police? What will I be reimbursed for? How will that investigation go once I report it stolen after a week? Will I be investigated. Please give me details!! Help!!
