He Singlehaninly drafted arguably the greatest Dynasty of all time. HE did more evaluation work than many scouts do now! He often was able to see talent where many NFL scouts could not. And he did it in FLAWLESS fashion!
 
Brady has a point. Lombardi traded for players like Henry Jordan, LeRoy Caffee, and Willie Davis, who became All-Pros, and discarded from his initial roster a lot of components upon which other coaches had placed way too much value. And his free agent pickups ALWAYS contributed. The NFL Western Conference Pro Bowl teams in those years were almost all Lombardi's players. Time dims this, and some forget why the biggest trophy is called THE LOMBARDI TROPHY, but it isn't merely because he won the first neutral site NFL championship after the merger. It's because he was the best of the best, in coaching terms. Noll coached MUCH longer, by the way.
