Americans ,Why do u believe that everyone should have the right to own a gun?

I do NOT believe everyone should have the right to own a gun. Hunters and sportsmen? Maybe.

Only in barbaric societies are people allowed to own a handgun.
 
i know about the whole self defense thing ,but so many times those guns have fallen into the hands of wrong people
the thought of having a gun in my house scares me,i cant imagine what would happen if my kids would find it and dont know what it can do...as u know that has happened many times
 
because all the people who actually kill people with guns, can get their guns by illegal means anyway.
 
Its the 2nd amendment we all diserve to carry and own guns and now that we have obama as president he is going to try and change that and that is bs. that should never be changed. You should teach your kids gun safety and make them learn how to shoot so they can defend them selves if they half to.
 
I don't believe in it at all. What do we pay the police for? The right to bear arms is outdated. It was written with the threat of the British Red Coats invading. If someone was invading my home, would I reach for the gun in the kitchen, the living room, the bedroom, or the bathroom? How many guns do we need before more innocent people get killed?
