You might as well start your education now. I ran "american public university" on google.com and metacrawler.com (my preference), and was met with a good selection of sites. Read them all. It's primarily an online school, run for profit, that caters particularly to the military and those in foreign service who cannot attend a fixed campus. You can check out its programs and accreditation online, and maybe go further. Its student body is 69% military, so that should dictate where you ask for personal experiences. Good luck.
