This seems to be an ignorant question and I definitely phrased it incorrectly. You see, I am not at all opposed to the idea of putting a defense up against Russia, I just don't know if that is to be done by force or diplomacy. I just think that this will not be seen so much as a defensive move as an offensive move. I just don't like that something like this could further tarnish the image of the United States. You are correct about Poland though, they might need help defending themselves, but it doesn't seem like Russia would ever really find it in their power to conquer countries that are part of the European Union or one of the original member states of the UN, because they know that they are heavily backed and will be defended.
I hope that you guys understand that this missle defense system can be targeted elsewhere, say.. Iran?
I mean, yeah bush is getting ousted in the coming year, but that doesn't mean that these battles are over.
