I'm currently a junior in high school it's time to start thinking about colleges... I've always dreamed about studying in England or Scotland for the whole 4+ years of my education, not just studying abroad for a semester. My parents are against the idea, claiming that if "something" ever happened, it would be hard for me to get home. I've tried showing them that going to university in England would be relatively cheap for a good education, being about the same price as attending a state school; however, they still don't believe that I could've calculated it all correctly, thinking about airfare and such. Do you have any advice on how I can convince my parents? Or am I completely wrong in thinking that the cost isn't that bad...?
