I have notes on this question, but my notes aren't enough to cover 4 pages. Maybe they are, but I have a hard time expanding on things when it comes to History.
The essay question is:
After 1800 the northern and southern states began to look markedly different both socially and economically. Discuss the economies of both regions after and the social structures that developed during this time period. Why do you think the north and south had different economic and social development and how did these social structures help determine the outcome of the Civil War??
I know that during that time period the north had a grand majority of the railroads, and they also became industrialized, their artisan ways were moving westward. The south was mostly filled with plantations, which supplied cotton (of course).
That about sums up one and a half pages that I already have written.
Please help!! :]
