I stress this is my own opinion, but I watched the Superbowl or at least some of it the other night and it was awful. There was no flow to it whatsoever, they seemed to spend more time hanging around than actually playing?! And why is it called football when they don't use their feet? I think America should adopt real football (soccer) as more of a mainstream sport.
I'm not trolling, I'm simply wondering how this sport appeals to people?
Hm, I thought it would be to much to ask for a reasonable discussion. Firstly, I stressed that I used the word 'rubbish' as my opinion of what I saw was a dull game. Secondly, how can you not consider football, or soccer as mainstream? It's played all around the world, hence the 'world cup which was watched by 2.2 bn people. And I'm sorry I 'trespassed' into the football section. Actually I'm not at all.
