How come in America You stay in high school till your eighteen and and in England we leave when we are sixteen?
In American you can get held back but in England you Instantly move up to the next year (grade) with evryone else your age
In america you can fail classes but in England it doen't really matter as much until you take your GCSE's (Final Exams)

School in America seems alot harder :P

They may seem harder but it may be a matter of us being educated better.

you are a legal adult when you are 18 and you can't drop out of high school before your an adult and we have 12 grades and usually by the time a student has completed those 12 grades they are 18.

if you can't pass a grade level it isn't logical here for you to proceed to the next grade level if you can't pass the one before it. You wouldn't be able to pass the next one.

Our governments have differents rules and laws
