American Dad to enter Syndication

I'm honestly really excited about this. With how infrequent American Dad has aired on Adult Swim (and how even MORE infrequent they air reruns), there are episodes of this series that I haven't seen since they first premiered. I really like this series, so re-experiencing all this stuff will be pretty sweet.

Hopefully this'll also expose American Dad to audiences that haven't had access to it/haven't given it a chance. It's truly an underrated gem that could easily gain cult status.

The 100 Episode Rule. For a show to be allowed to air in Syndication it must either be finished or have at least 100 episodes of it's run shown first before syndicated networks can run it.

Since I missed out on most of the eps last season and some of the ones this season, I'll try catching it if it airs at a reasonable time on syndication. I do hope they are airing the episodes in order. CW's Syndicated run of Family Guy and South Park don't air the episodes really in order, so I hope that won't be the case for AD.

What Josh said. It's good to see American Dad getting a little more air time. It sure deserves it, especially considering how poorly both Fox and Adult Swim treat it.

I just bought the first three volumes of the DVDs, so I'll probably have fun comparing them to their syndicated counterparts and seeing what got cut. Already, I get the sense that the bit in the pilot with God having a phone conversation with George W. Bush will get the ax.

I'm bumping this old post to announce that Pavan from Sitcoms Online has posted the fall schedule for TBS and they will be airing American Dad daily.

It will air Monday to Friday at 7:30pm
Fridays 8:00pm to 9:00pm
Saturdays 6:30pm to 8:00pm

This will be great. I've never seen every episode. Now I can get caught up. This starts Monday September 20th, 2010.
